How To Disable Your Pop-up Blocker



To use interactive tutoring on this site, you must have the pop-up blocker disabled on your browser.

For Internet Explorer users:

  • To allow pop-up windows from certain trusted sites:
    • Go to Tools
    • Select Pop-up Blocker
    • Select Pop-up Blocker Settings
    • In Address of website to allow, enter dlc.globalscholar.com and click ‘Add’
    • Click OK
  • To temporarily allow pop-up windows:
    • Click the Pop-up Blocked toolbar that is displayed whenever a pop-up is blocked.
    • Click Temporarily Allow Pop-ups.
  • To turn off pop-up blocker:
    • From the Tools menu, select Pop-up Blocker.
    • Click Turn On/Off Pop-up Blocker

For Firefox users:

  • To allow pop-up windows from certain trusted sites:
    • From the Tools menu, select Options.
    • Select Content tab.
    • Go to Allowed Sites (on the right).
    • In Address of website type in dlc.globalscholar.com.
    • Click OK
  • To temporarily allow pop-up windows:
    • Click the pop-up blocker toolbar that shows up when a pop-up is blocked.
    • Click Allow pop-ups from dlc.globalscholar.com
  • To turn off pop-up blocker:
    • From the Tools menu, select Options.
    • Select Content tab.
    • Select or unselect the box labeled Block Pop-up Windows (at the top).
